R.C.I.A.



The format of RCIA is a method used by the Church to bring Adults into the Catholic Faith and to complete the Initiation into the Church of those adults who are already baptized either as Catholics, or baptised in another Christian denomination. The format also lends itself very well to enriching the faith of lax or weak Catholics.  As well the process and format of RCIA enriches the faith of all adult Catholics.

RCIA is, at one and the same time, a learning process that is intellectual, experiential, and spiritual.  It challenges the whole person to grow in the faith, and to come to know the faith as a totally lived experience that encompasses the whole of one's life.

There is a Children’s component to RCIA.
