PARISH LENTEN MISSION
Our parish Lenten mission will start from Feb 22-26. “Work Out Your Salvation!” (Based on Philippians 2:12) by Fr. Wade Menezes, C.P.M. from the Fathers of Mercy, Kentucky. The mission will be held in the morning and evening after Masses during the weekdays and at all Sunday Masses. 
Titles of Mission Conferences for each of the nights are as follows:
1. Be Faithful to daily duty.  2. Be Other-centred.
3. Understand the Reality of Vice and Virtue. 4. Practice and Live the Sacraments. 5. Live a Trinitarian Spirituality.
 
IC YOUTH MINISTRY 
Sun., Feb. 1, 7pm: “The Call”This Life Night kicks off a series about Vocations! Making choices is part of everyday life. Outfits are chosen, jobs are chosen, friends are chosen, but to be called to something is different.This night will help teens explore the different vocations they might be called to.
“Brick” Retreat: This is a week-end long retreat for teens! We’ll be staying over at Rosemary Heights Retreat Centre from Feb. 13-15. Come get away with us and re-build your faith! All teens in grades 8-12 are welcome. You can pick up a registration form and brochure at the back of the church or at the next Life Night. PREP NEWS

 
A reminder to parishioners attending the Saturday 5pm Mass, that our First Communion program will resume next Saturday. 104 students and their families will be attending the 5pm Mass on Feb 21, and Apr. 11.  We appreciate all the regular attendees who generously make room to celebrate Mass with our parish children as they prepare to receive the Eucharist for the first time.
 
ADULTS & LITTLE ONES DROP-IN

CHILDREN’S ROSARY
All are invited to the Children’s Rosary on Sunday, February 1st, at 3pm in meeting room 2.
 
KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS
First "Fish & Chips" Dinner will be on Friday Feb. 20, starting at 4:30pm - 6:30pm. We will be taking orders after the 5pm Mass Sat. Feb. 7th as well as after all scheduled Masses on Sunday, Feb. 8th.
 
IC WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY
The first lesson begins Wednesday, Feb. 11. We look forward to welcoming all women in the Gathering Area, from 8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. This new study, “Genesis, For All Generations”instructs further about the God who saved Noah, called Abraham, and promised His covenant blessings “for all generations”.
There are no requirements for the program. The fee of $10 covers the cost of the study guide.

Sharing our culture and rich religious tradition with our brothers and sisters from different cultural backgrounds here at our parish in IC is one way of enhancing our faith and promoting unity. OLD BLESSED PALMS
At this time of the year, we appeal for your last year’s palm branches to be brought back and drop them off in a box provided at the Church vestibule, prior to February 15.
 
WORLD YOUTH DAY - 2016
Will you be 18-35 years old by July 2016?  Are you interested in journeying to Poland and meeting other Catholic young adults from around the world?  Does attending a Mass celebrated by our Holy Father, Pope Francis, excite you?  Then, come join our parish pilgrimage group!  Contact Fr. PRO-LIFE
Annual Valentine’s Dinner Dance by Surrey Delta Pro-Life will be held at Cloverdale Catholic Parish Centre (Precious Blood Parish in Cloverdale) on Feb. 7th.
