ALL SOULS – PRAY FOR THE DEAD
November is the month in which we particularly pray for the deceased members of our families and friends. A special way of doing this is by having a Mass offered for the repose of their souls. Envelopes are available at the entrance of the church marked All Souls.@ the Baptismal font. They can be put in any collection basket any time during the month of November. (Parishioners are always welcome to come to the office to make these requests, for the living or the deceased).
The next World Youth Day (WYD) is taking place in Krakow, Poland in July of 2016. Our parish is inviting young adults, who will be 18-35 yrs. old to come on this journey. This package includes all the WYD activities plus a visit to the Divine Mercy Convent, Salt Mines, Auschwitz/Birkenau and Wadowice, the birthplace of JPII. For more info, please contact Fr. Ajin George at the parish or Gerard Garcia at email@example.com.

Are you intrigued by some of the stories about angels? Is there a biblical basis for believing in angels? In this study, we will look at what the Bible tells us about angels and why we should believe in their existence. Scripture gives us some guidelines to evaluate the stories we hear about angels. This next study starts Wednesday, Nov.12, in the Gathering Area, from 8:45am – 11:15am. There are no requirements for the programme. The only fee, between $6-$9, is to cover the cost of the study guide booklet. Need more info? Call Joan Surinak: 604.584.7234 or Thea Baxter: 604.590.6402.
