Baptism on Sundays is at 1:15pm. It is highly recommended that the Parents and Godparents should attend the 12pm Mass before the Baptism of their child.
Thursday morning coffee hour will resume on Sept. 4th after 8:15am Mass. Please bring some goodies to share. We need volunteers to help with the coffee as well as to clean up.

Couples for Christ (CFC) will be holding its Christian Life Program (CLP) for married couples starting Sep. 13, Sat., from 1-4 pm. Sessions will end with Anticipated Mass at 5pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for husbands and wives to participate in worship, prayer and talks on the Church's teachings on faith, marriage and the Christian family. RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) starts on Wed. Sept. 10 at 7pm. in the meeting rooms 2 & 3. You can pre-register at the Parish office. If you or someone you know are interested in becoming a Catholic, are Catholic and would like to learn more about your faith, or have not made your First Communion or been confirmed, then this program is for you. There is no registration fee & materials are provided. If you would like to serve the Lord by journeying with someone who is going through RCIA as a sponsor, please call the Parish Office: 604.591.2271.
Religious education classes (PREP) for public school students begin Tues, Sept 9.  Register now by phone at 604.596.4004, 9am-3pm (Tues-Thurs) or by form at the Parish office. The Barrio Fiesta is on its second year! This fundraising event aims to promote friendship and community participation. And it will be on Sept. 27, tickets are on sale for $30. We need volunteers to assist the Barrio Fiesta team either during the daytime events or at the dinner/dance. Sign up by email: .  Please reference “Volunteer” in the subject line. We are also requesting for businesses and families to be our sponsor thru ad placements in the souvenir program or by donation.
We will be at the Church foyer after each mass to answer inquiries and sell dinner/dance tickets. Volunteer and Sponsor sign-up sheets will be available as well at that time. Join the team and be a part of this yearly event! Stay tuned. ALL Proceeds will go to the IC School's capital needs fund.
Would you like to have a deeper awareness of the Sunday readings? Do you have the desire to probe what the Lord is speaking to you and his faithful each Sun.? Here is an
opportunity to reflect on the depth of the word of the Lord. All adults and young adults are invited to come on Mon. evenings, beginning on Sept. 8th at 7pm in meeting rooms 2/3, to prepare for the following Sunday’s liturgy of the word. It is a wonderful opportunity to grow in relationship with the Lord and his community of faith. Preparation for Sun. will run every Mon. evening. Come and discover how the Lord is feeding us with his word.
Praesidium meeting with clergy and other leaders for parishes who have enrolled is Sept. 12, 7-9pm. Praesidium Training of facilitators is Sept. 13, 10am -5pm. Next Archdiocesan training session for PSC’s Sat. Sept. 27, 2014, 10am – 12noon at Holy Cross Secondary School, Surrey. Please RSVP if planning to attend.
